Team News: Angel di Maria on bench for Argentina in World Cup final against Germany

Argentina midfielder Angel di Maria has not been passed fit for this evening's World Cup final against Germany.

The Real Madrid man is struggling with a thigh problem and had to sit out the semi-final against the Netherlands.

It was reported earlier today that he might be fit to start tonight in Rio de Janeiro, but Enzo Perez keeps his place in the Argentinian midfield.

Both sides are in fact unchanged, with Miroslav Klose again leading the German line, while Gonzalo Higuain is preferred to Sergio Aguero in the Argentine attack.
