Lassana Diarra joins Lokomotiv Moscow

French midfielder Lassana Diarra has completed his move from Anzhi Makhachkala to Lokomotiv Moscow.

The 28-year-old, who moved to Anzhi last summer, has become the sixth player to depart the Russian club in the space of two weeks under their new policy.

A number of European clubs had been linked with the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder, but Diarra has decided to remain in Russia.

It is understood that a three-year contract has been agreed.
