Almeria through to last 16

Almeria have reached the last 16 of the Copa del Rey at the expense of Las Palmas.

The Spanish outfit were held to a goalless draw at home in the second leg of their last-32 tie but went through 3-1 on aggregate.

Both sides were in an attacking mode early in the match, but failed to find the final ball.

Almeria gradually took control of proceedings as the game wore on, but the intensity from either team did not increase until the final minutes.

The hosts had a goal disallowed in the 80th minute and four minutes later Lizoain Raul kept out Aleix Vidal's free kick.

Moments later Momo came close for Las Palmas but failed to get his attempt past Almeria goalkeeper Oscar Ustari.
