Niger 0-1 Morocco

A strike from Younes Belhanda was enough for Morocco to take all three points from their encounter with Niger.

Younes Belhanda scored the only goal of the game in this dead rubber fixture at the African Cup of Nations.

Both countries headed into the match knowing that would be unable to qualify, and that was reflected during the first half as both sides struggled to create goalscoring chances.

The trend continued after the break until Belhanda collected possession from Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh and then sent the ball into the roof of the net from ten yards out.

The result means that Niger exit the tournament without picking up a point.
