South Africa go into lunch 68-1 as Dean Elgar puts up 35 not out.

South Africa have gone into lunch 68-1 on the first day of their second Test against West Indies at St George's Park.

Dean Elgar has led the charge for the hosts, scoring 35 not out, with Francois du Plessis (6 not out) also contributing.

Shannon Gabriel claimed the day's only wicket as Leon Johnson caught Alviro Petersen, who went for an upper cut off the short ball and finished his stint with just 17 runs.

South Africa lead the three-match series 1-0.
