Leading Test run scorers of all time: Can you name every player to score more than 10,000 runs as Joe Root makes history?

Sports Mole challenges you to name the leading Test run scorers in history, with 14 players having gone past 10,000 runs.

England batsman Joe Root has continued his rise up the all-time leading Test run scorers on the tour of Pakistan.

The 33-year-old had already made inroads up the standings during the summer in order to move into sixth position behind former teammate Sir Alastair Cook.

During the third day of the first Test against Pakistan in Multan, Root surpassed the ex-opener to become England's all-time leading run scorer in Test cricket.

Root ultimately scored 262 - his highest-ever score in the long format of the game - as England produced their own record-breaking day to put themselves in a winning position.

With just four players ahead of him, Root will be wanting to press ahead with chasing them down during the remainder of their tour of the Middle East.

Here, Sports Mole challenges you to name all of the other players to accumulate more than 10,000 runs in the history of Test cricket.
