Albie Morkel handed South African recall

South Africa have decided to recall Albie Morkel into their one-day squad for the upcoming series with Sri Lanka.

The 30-year-old all-rounder has taken the place of Dean Elgar, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.

Morkel has not represented his county in the 50-over format of the game since November 2010.

He has scored 679 runs in 51 one-day international matches.
