Stuart Broad praises England's "grit"

Pace-bowler Stuart Broad has praised England's attitude during day four of their first Test match against India earlier today.

The tourists looked to be heading for a heavy defeat yesterday morning when they were forced to follow on.

However, unbeaten knocks from captain Alastair Cook and Matt Prior have left England with a realistic chance of claiming a draw.

"English grit and fight shone today. Were still in the battle," Broad wrote on Twitter.

England currently lead the match by 10 runs.
