Alex Hales, Ian Bell remain unsold

Neither of England's Alex Hales or Ian Bell was purchased during the recent auction for the upcoming Indian Premier League.

It was anticipated that Hales in particular would be picked up following his performances with the bat in the Twenty20 format of the game over the last 12 months.

However, unlike Kevin Pietersen, who has linked up with the Delhi Daredevils for a second time, the duo went unsold.

Australia's T20 skipper Cameron White and West Indies left-handed batsman Darren Bravo also missed out.
