Steven Finn replaces Liam Plunkett for England

Steven Finn has replaced the injured Liam Plunkett in the England squad for the fourth Test against India at Old Trafford.

Plunkett has failed to recover from an ankle problem that ruled him out of England's victory over the tourists in the third Test at Southampton.

Finn's last Test appearance came during the Ashes series win against Australia on home soil last summer.

Liam Plunkett experienced some left ankle discomfort at the end of the 2nd Test and will miss the 4th Test as this continues to settle.

Finn has played 23 Tests for England since his debut against Bangladesh in 2010.
