Rain throws England vs. Australia into doubt

Today's one-day international between England and Australia at Old Trafford has been thrown into doubt by rain.

The final match of the five-game series is due to get underway at 2pm.

However, ground staff have confirmed that it will take them at least two hours after it has stopped raining to get the pitch suitable for play to take place.

More rain has been forecast in the Manchester area throughout the day.

England currently lead the series 3-0, with one match having been abandoned due to the wet conditions.
