England's ICC Champions Trophy final against India in Birmingham is given a starting time of 3.45pm.

Today's ICC Champions Trophy final between England and India at Edgbaston has been restricted to 24 overs per side.

Play had been due to start at 10.30am, but once the national anthems were completed, the players were ushered off the pitch as it started raining.

Conditions failed to improve during the early part of the afternoon, but following an inspection by the umpires, it has been confirmed that play will get underway at 3.45pm.

However, to ensure that an outcome is possible, the overs have been cut from 50 to 24.

England skipper Alastair Cook won the toss and his team will bowl first.
