England's Stuart Broad, Steven Finn ruled out of first two ODIs against New Zealand

Broad, Finn out of two ODIs

Stuart Broad and Steven Finn will play no part in England's first one-day international against New Zealand at Lord's today.

The bowlers have been taken out of the squad due to minor injuries, which have also placed them on the sidelines for this Sunday's clash at the Rose Bowl.

Broad and Finn, who are suffering from a bruised knee and sore shin respectively, may have been taken out of the equation with England having one eye on the ICC Champions Trophy next month.

Meanwhile, Jade Dernbach was named as cover for Tim Bresnan, whose wife is due to give birth, but both players have been included in the squad.

England team to face New Zealand: Cook, Bell, Trott, Root, Morgan, Buttler, Bresnan, Swann, Anderson, Woakes, Dernbach
