Jake Ball, Steven Finn left out of England team for second Test against Pakistan

England captain Alastair Cook confirms that Jake Ball and Steven Finn will not be part of the 12-man team for the second Test against Pakistan at Old Trafford.

England captain Alastair Cook has announced that there will be no place for Jake Ball or Steven Finn in his 12-man team for the second Test against Pakistan at Old Trafford.

Personnel changes were expected following the inclusions of all-rounder Ben Stokes and bowler James Anderson, both of whom missed the first Test due to injuries.

The remaining spot in the setup will be decided before the toss tomorrow morning, and either Moeen Ali or Adil Rashid, who last played for the Test side eight months ago, will be chosen.

England are looking to level up the four-Test series 1-1 after they suffered a 75-run defeat at Lord's.
