Anderson to start bowling this month

England's James Anderson has revealed that he will resume bowling at a training camp later this month.

On Tuesday it was confirmed that the 32-year-old will miss the upcoming one-day international tour of Sri Lanka to aid his recovery from a knee injury.

However, Anderson has confirmed that along with the likes of Stuart Broad and Liam Plunkett, he will travel to South Africa on November 21 to begin going through his paces ahead of next year's World Cup.

"I think that it will coincide with me coming back to bowling, going to Potchefstroom to work with the performance squad out there," he told the ECB's official website.

"Stuart Broad's going there as well, so it will be nice to not only continue working on my fitness but get some bowling in warm weather."

Anderson is expected to return to competitive action during the ODI tri-series in Australia in January.
