England are 24 without loss at lunch on day two of the third Ashes Test match against Australia in Perth.

England have made it to lunch on day two of the third Ashes Test match against Australia without loss.

Alastair Cook (17) and Michael Carberry (6) have put on 24 runs in six overs, although the skipper was dropped at slip by Steve Smith in the third over.

It was a difficult chance for the first-innings centurion, who had to quickly shift direction after Cook tried to work a Ryan Harris delivery onto leg side.

The hosts ended their first innings in Perth on 385.
