Chris Tremlett delighted with Ashes inclusion

Pace bowler Chris Tremlett admits that his inclusion in the squad for the upcoming Ashes series has made his recovery from injury feel more worthwhile.

England bowler Chris Tremlett has revealed that it has taken a lot of patience for him to make a full recovery from injury.

Knee and back problems kept the Surrey player out for the majority of the 2012 season, but Tremlett feels that his hard work has been justified after he was included for the upcoming Ashes series in Australia.

The 32-year-old told BBC London 94.9: "People don't really have any idea how hard it has been to get back.

"I guess the mental trauma is something that I have had to deal with but it is great to get through that."

Tremlett's last Test appearance came in January 2012.
