Botham "loving" England's Ashes run

Former England captain Sir Ian Botham has admitted that he is "loving" the current side's dominance over Australia in the Ashes.

The hosts currently lead the series 2-0 after racing to a 347-run win over the tourists, as they bowled them out for 235 in their second innings on day four of the second Test.

"Now that's what you call a Test win," Botham told The Mirror. "In every department and in every way England were better than Australia and I expect them to get better still.

"It was a Test cricket masterclass from Alastair Cook and the boys. Even though I was never good at maths at school, I reckon two out of two is 100% success. And I for one am absolutely loving it."

England meet Australia in the third Test of the Ashes at Old Trafford on August 1.
