Australia's hopes of stopping England from winning the second Ashes Test fade fast at lunch on day four at Lord's.

Australia are 534 runs behind England with seven wickets remaining at lunch on day four of the second Ashes Test at Lord's.

The visitors' chances of winning - or even drawing - the match have taken an almost fatal blow in the opening session as they stand at 48-3.

England had earlier declared on 349-7 to give themselves a lead of 582.

Shane Watson was bowled lbw by James Anderson for 20 before Chris Rogers fell victim to Graeme Swann after posting six runs.

A disastrous morning then got worse as Phillip Hughes was dismissed by Swann having hit just one run.

Usman Khawaja (eight not out) and Michael Clarke (11 not out) will be at the crease when play resumes.
