Sri Lanka beat Australia by eight wickets

Sri Lanka have beaten Australia by eight wickets in the second one-day international with 59 balls to spare.

Australia could only manage a disappointing 170 before being bowled out, with just Brad Haddin achieving a decent score with 50 off 67 deliveries.

Lasith Malinga was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 32 runs coming from his nine overs.

Sri Lanka lost Upul Tharinga early in their response for a duck, before Tillakaratne Dilshan went on to make a half-century.

The win was secured by a marvellous knock from Lahiru Thirimanne, who completed his century and Sri Lanka's win with a final four.

The result levels the five-match ODI series at 1-1.
