Michael Clarke to return to action in Australia's final World Cup warm-up match

Michael Clarke will make his return from a hamstring injury in Australia's final World Cup warm-up match against the UAE in Melbourne tomorrow.

Michael Clarke is expected to return from injury in Wednesday's final World Cup warm-up match for Australia against the United Arab Emirates in Melbourne.

The batsman's fitness has been a major talking point during the build-up to the tournament as he has not captained his country for two months due to a hamstring issue.

However, the 33-year-old has been selected to feature against the UAE tomorrow, just three days before Australia's World Cup opener against England at the MCG.

Cricket Australia has reportedly told Clarke that he needs to prove his fitness by February 21, when his nation take on Bangladesh in their second Group A fixture.
