Cricket Australia confirm that captain Michael Clarke will travel to London on Wednesday to receive treatment for an ongoing back injury.

Cricket Australia have confirmed that captain Michael Clarke will travel to London on Wednesday to receive treatment for a back injury.

The 32-year-old was forced to miss his team's ICC Champions Trophy warm-up fixture against India on Tuesday with the ongoing problem.

"@MClarke23 will head to London tomorrow for specialist treatment and a decision on his fitness for next game will be made in due course," Cricket Australia tweeted.

The Aussies begin their defence of the ICC Champions Trophy on Saturday when they face England at Edgbaston.
