Australia have headed into lunch on day four of their third Test match against South Africa in Perth still needing 522 runs to win.

The home side ended the morning session on 110-3 from 38 overs after resuming from an overnight score of 40 without loss.

Australia lost three wickets in the space of two hours before lunch on Monday, with David Warner, Shane Watson and Ricky Ponting all getting dismissed.

Ed Cowan is unbeaten on 37 runs, while Michael Clarke is eight not out for the Aussies.
