Hello and welcome to Sports Mole's live text commentary of day three of the Olympic boxing at the ExCel Centre.
The fly and light-heavyweight classes get underway today, representing a day off for Great Britain's pugilists.
Yesterday, Freddie Evans and Josh Taylor made it three out of three for Team GB as they overcame Algeria's Ilyas Abbadi and Robson Conceicao respectively.

23.24In terms of controversy, Sumit Sangwan can feel aggrieved following his defeat to Yamaguchi Falcao Florentino. The Oteng/Cintron fight could have gone to wither way. It went to Cintron in the end, but I don't think it could be called controversial.
23.20Highlights? Robeisy Ramirez looked like he will be a major gold medal threat. Damien Hooper produced a furious final flurry to beat Marcus Browne. Nordine Oubaali was another classy operator.

16.28Hooper looked a bit laxidasical in the first two rounds. Uneasy and awkward, while Browne was composed and technically sound. However, he had no answer to the bombardment in the final three minutes.
16.27That was a great final round from Hooper, who knew that he had to blast the American out to stand any chance of winning. He applied constant pressure and did not allow Browne to rest for a moment.
16.17Amazing final round which sees Hooper through - 13-11.
16.05Fast start to this fight has slowed right down now. Browne leads 3-2.

16.00Baffling performance from Qurbonov there. Elmekachari wins by eight points but, in truth, it could have been far worse for the Tajiki.

14.25I thought that the fight between Cintron and Oteng was very even in the first two rounds. Cintron was quite accurate, while Oteng was full of beans. I would not say that robbed was the right word, but I did think that Oteng perhaps did enough to win.
