Ireland's Adam Nolan and Dean Gardiner boxed their way into the quarter-finals of their respective divisions after both claimed victories in Baku this afternoon.
Nolan, competing at welterweight, won a unanimous points decision against Italy's Dario Morello, with all three judges handing the Irishman a 30-27 win.
His compatriot, Gardiner, won his super heavyweight bout against another Italian, Guido Vianello, scoring 29-28 on all three cards.
