Juliao Henriques defeats North Korean

Brazil's Juliao Henriques has defeated Jong Chol Pak of North Korea by a four-point margin in the Olympic flyweight class.

The pair were sizing each other up in the opening round, reflected in a 2-2 scoreline.

Accuracy was at a premium as any shot that landed seemed only to be a glancing blow, and the fight became untidy as their heads constantly clashed.

The action became ferocious at times in the second and Henriques had opened up a three-point lead heading into the decider.

A scrappy fight ended with Henriques taking a 12-8 decision.
