DeJuan Blair looking to bring energy and toughness to Washington Wizards

Washington Wizards' new signing DeJuan Blair has said that he plans on bringing energy and toughness to the franchise.

Blair shone for the Dallas Mavericks last season, as the team pushed would-be champions the San Antonio Spurs to the wire in the playoffs.

"I plan on just bringing energy and toughness to the team," Blair told reporters.

"And being a veteran guy, helping the young guys do the right thing and just have fun at the same time."

The signing of Blair is hoped to bring more depth to a Washington deep court that already includes Nene, Marcin Gortat and Kris Humphries.
