Utah Jazz re-sign free agent guard Kevin Murphy

The Utah Jazz have moved to re-sign free agent guard Kevin Murphy.

Murphy was handed his chance in the NBA by Utah in 2012, where he was selected as a second-round Draft pick, before being shipping out to the Golden State Warriors the following year.

After moving again last season Murphy found himself at the Idaho Stampede in the D-League, where he ranked second in the scoring charts and was named as part of the 2014 All-D-League First Team.

The 24-year-old spent four seasons at Tennessee Tech University, where he became the school's second all-time leading scorer.
