United States thrash China 114-66 to keep 100% record in women's basketball

United States dominated China to record a 114-66 victory and finish the group stage of the women's basketball competition with a 100% record.

China kept the match close early on before the US found their form with a demolition job in the second quarter, outscoring their opponents 30 points to eight.

The US were unstoppable as their star players made consistent baskets, Diana Taurasi and Angel McCoughtry top scoring with 22 and 16 points respectively.

America top Group A with five wins out of five and will be a daunting prospect for likely opponents Canada in the quarter-finals.
