Tony Parker: 'Dallas Mavericks deserve credit for current form'

Parker: 'Mavericks deserve credit'

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker has admitted that the Dallas Mavericks deserve credit as they defeated his side 109-108 in their third playoff game at the American Airlines Center on Saturday.

The Mavericks took a 2-1 lead in the series thanks to Vince Carter, who drilled in a game-winning three-pointer right on the buzzer, following a standout performance from Monta Ellis who notched 29 points in the clash.

"You have to give them [Mavericks] credit, they are playing great," Parker admitted after the game.

"They are shooting the ball very well and they are very aggressive. Right now they are playing with a lot of confidence."

The Mavs and Spurs will meet again on Monday as they do battle in Game Four.
