Michael Malone wants more consistency from team

Sacramento Kings coach Mike Malone believes that he must keep on working in order to find out how to make his side more consistent this season.

Sacramento Kings coach Michael Malone has said that he must keep on working in order to find out how to make his side more consistent this season.

The Kings have looked impressive in a number of games, especially in their most recent win against the Houston Rockets on Sunday, but have also fallen victim to a number of disappointing results.

"No, I haven't figured this team out yet. We're a work in a progress," said Malone when asked by reporters about the composition of his team.

"We've shown in [the Houston] game, the Dallas game, where it looks like we're really making steps in the right direction, and then we'll play a Utah and a Phoenix, and it looks like we haven't even had a training camp. I don't know what to make of it.

"I have not figured it out – I can tell you that – but I'm going to keep on working to get better every day."

The Kings are sitting in fifth place in the Pacific Division with a record of 7-15 so far for the season.
