The Sacramento Kings have announced that the franchise is to retire the number of team legend Peja Stojakovic.
Stojakovic's number 16 jersey will be given up after the team hosts the Oklahoma City Thunder in December, with the player becoming the fourth person to have their number retired since the franchise relocated from Kansas in 1985.
The Serbian-born former small forward was given his chance to play in the NBA by Sacramento, who drafted Stojakovic in 1996, allowing him to go on and spend eight years at the team.
The player finished his career at the Dallas Mavericks, having also featured for three other NBA sides.
