The Orlando Magic have invited Kris Joseph to take part in their pre-season training camp, according to a report.
Former Syracuse small forward Joseph has been without a side since being waived by the Boston Celtics after being involved in the trade that saw Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett move to the Brooklyn Nets.
It's unclear how firm the interest is from the Magic but Joseph will now get a chance to earn a contract when the camp begins on October 1, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The 24-year-old has played only 10 games in the NBA and has spent the majority of his professional career in the D-League with the Maine Red Claws and Springfield Armor.
