Liggins pleads not guilty

DeAndre Liggins has pleaded not guilty to a number of domestic violence charges in a court in Oklahoma.

The former Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard has been charged for two counts of kidnapping, two counts of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of domestic abuse in the presence of a minor and one count of violating a protective order.

All of the incidents involved the 25-year-old's girlfriend and the minor involved in the case is the couple's two-year-old son.

The Thunder released Liggins, who joined the franchise from the Orlando Magic in 2012, shortly after he was arrested.
