Kevin Durant: 'Experience helped Oklahoma City Thunder win'

Kevin Durant has said that the Oklahoma City Thunder's "experience" helped them secure a series win against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Thunder are through to the Western Conference finals after beating the Clippers 104-98 last night.

The league's MVP told reporters: "Experience has helped us out a lot, just being with each other for so long. We've got a long ways to go. We definitely can get better.

"This is definitely a series that pushed us to the brink. We were in a tough spot. We stayed together and persevered."

The Thunder will play the San Antonio Spurs in the conference finals.
