Ohio State Buckeyes coach Thad Matta has said that former Portland Trail Blazers player Greg Oden could mount an NBA comeback.
The centre spent five injury-hit seasons with the Trail Blazers, before he left in 2013 to focus on recovering from a knee injury.
The 27-year-old played 23 games for the Miami Heat in 2013, but he hasn't been seen in the NBA since, and has returned to Ohio State to start training again.
Matta told reporters: "Quite honestly, I haven't seen Greg look this good since when he played for us back in the day at Ohio State. His attitude is off the charts.
"I think he's right now trying to gauge how the body feels. There is a possibility he may make another run at it. He looks great."
Oden has played in 105 NBA games.
