Minnesota Timberwolves push for Nikola Pekovic to make All-Star team

The Minnesota Timberwolves have started a campaign to get centre Nikola Pekovic into his first All-Star game.

With teammate Kevin Love being included as a starter for the Western Conference team, the Wolves have now sent out a vinyl album featuring the "Bruise Brothers", the nickname for the duo.

The package has been sent to NBA coaches, who will vote on the reserves for the game with the results to be announced on Thursday, NBA.com reports.

Pekovic is averaging a career-high 18.4 points and 9.3 rebounds this campaign, but has been particularly impressive over the last six weeks.
