Rick Adelman will return to coach Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has all but confirmed that coach Rick Adelman will be on the bench next season.

Team president Flip Saunders had previously insisted that he was confident that Adelman would return, and his opinion appears to have now been confirmed.

"Yes, he did [say he's coming back]," Taylor said, according to Pro Basketball Talk.

Adelman missed a large part of last season to be with his wife who was ill, but his return would suggest that her health has since improved.

Meanwhile, the likes of Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love will also hope to stay healthy this season and help the franchise's cause.
