Jabari Parker: 'I'm best as a power forward'

Milwaukee Bucks frontman Jabari Parker states that he feels he is best deployed as a power forward, as he prepares to start the new season as a key member in the side.

Milwaukee Bucks frontman Jabari Parker has revealed that he plays best as a power forward following his arrival from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Parker has long been touted as having the potential to star in the NBA, with the 19-year-old going even further by stating that he believes in himself to feature at stretch four, a position that would need him to check the wing defensively when required.

"As of right now I'm more comfortable with the four position," said the number one Draft pick in a radio interview.

"That's where I played previously, before getting drafted, at Duke. I played a lot of four. Even in high school. I know this is a different level.

"But in coach's style of play, it's more a stretch four. That's where I like to play my game, even though I like to post up a little. Just being on the perimeter, setting screens and popping, that's what we've been doing so far. That's what coach Kidd has been anticipating me playing that role."

Parker will get his chance to shine for the Bucks when they open their campaign against the Charlotte Hornets on October 29.
