Memphis Grizzlies beat Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime

The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 98-95 in overtime to lead their playoff series 2-1.

The Memphis Grizzlies have taken a 2-1 lead in their first-round playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder after securing a 98-95 win in overtime.

The Grizzlies, who were playing their first home game of the series, appeared to be heading for a comfortable win when they opened up a 17-point lead during the third quarter.

However, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each added 30, included a last-minute push from the latter, to force the extra period.

Mike Conley got the hosts off to a good start in overtime, but it was Courtney Lee who added the game-winning points, making three of four free throws inside the last 11 seconds.

The sides meet again at Memphis's FedEx Forum on Saturday.
