JJ Redick could return sooner than expected

Clippers receive Redick boost

The Los Angeles Clippers could receive a boost following reports that shooting guard JJ Redick might return ahead of schedule.

The initial timetable suggested that he would be ruled out for between six to eight weeks after suffering a broken hand at the end of November.

However, he is now targeting a return on January 15 according to ESPN, after making significant progress.

Redick is averaging 15.8 points in 28.2 minutes per game, while the Clippers have gone 4-3 on a rough road trip without him.
