Lance Stephenson: 'Playing hard helped Indiana Pacers win'

Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson believes that playing hard has helped the team maintain their unbeaten record five games into the NBA season.

Lance Stephenson has said that the Indiana Pacers' "play-hard" approach has helped the team make an unbeaten start to the 2013-14 NBA season.

The Pacers top their conference following a 97-80 win over the Chicago Bulls, having won all five games so far this season, while every other Eastern team has at least two defeats.

The guard told reporters: "We just play hard. We feel like that we going to bring it every night on the defensive end, offensive end and we going to find a way to get that 'W,' and we did that tonight."

Donald Sloan added: "They brought all of us in to make the bench a little deeper than it was last year, and I think the guys on the bench know their role. So it just fits."

The Pacers face the Toronto Raptors tomorrow.
