Danny Granger not ready to return

Indiana Pacers star Danny Granger has conceded that he is not ready to make his return to action after an injury layoff.

The forward has missed the majority of the season thus far after suffering an injured left calf.

"I don't think where I'm at with my timing and rhythm and obviously my conditioning. I don't think I will [play] Friday," he told reporters.

Coach Frank Vogel insisted that he was keen for his swingman to improve his fitness before he returns to the court.
