Report: Detroit Pistons' Brandon Jennings cleared for full activities

A report suggests that Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings is cleared to return to the court after eight months out with a torn Achilles.

Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings has been cleared for full basketball activities ahead of training camp, according to a report.

The 25-year-old tore his Achilles tendon in January in his side's defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks, and was ruled out of the rest of the 2014-15 season.

However, Jennings has made strides in his recovery over the course of the off-season and should be ready to take the court to play a part in his side's practices, but will not be ready for game action until at least November, reports CSN Chicago.

The point guard averaged 15.4 points per game for Detroit in 41 matches last season.
