Shawn Marion: 'I won't play against Cleveland Cavaliers'

Shawn Marion will miss Monday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers as he continues to struggle with a shoulder injury.

Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion has suggested that he will miss Monday night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Marion sat out the win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday with a shoulder injury and responded cautiously when asked over how much longer he will be on the sidelines.

"I just don't want to get out there and it comes immediately back," the 35-year-old told reporters. "We're just going to take it slow."

Marion averages 11.1 points per game this season.
