Steve Kerr: 'Golden State Warriors took a step up in game four of NBA Finals'

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr says that his side took a step up during their game four win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has suggested that his side took a step up in performance levels in order to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in game four of the NBA Finals.

The Warriors won out 103-82 at the Quicken Loans Arena, with shooting guard Andre Iguodala perhaps producing one of the series' most memorable shutouts against Cleveland's star man LeBron James.

"I thought the first three games they were the more competitive team," Kerr told reporters after the game.

"Maybe it's our first trip to the Finals, we thought we can play hard. It's not just about playing hard.

"It's about playing every single possession like it's your last. And I thought tonight our effort took a step up and that's why we were able to win."

The sides now move into game five on Sunday with the scores tied at 2-2.
