Perkins involved in roadside incident

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kendrick Perkins has been involved in a roadside incident with his wife which was reported to the police.

A 911 caller reported that a man and a woman were fighting by a car parked by the side of the road in Ohio, with officers arriving at the scene to find the Cavaliers back-up center and his spouse.

"It looks like a woman is hitting the man and he's trying to get out of the car. They're parked on the side of the road," the 911 caller says in a recording provided to ESPN.

"It looks like he was trying to get out and the person, which I think was a woman, was trying to pull him back, like grabbing him and pulling him back in [the car]."

Perkins is averaging 1.0 points and 0.8 rebounds in five games during the playoffs, with coach David Blatt revealing that he will be available for game six against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.
