James: 'Whatever Irving gives will be great'

Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James has suggested that whatever teammate Kyrie Irving can give the side during the playoff finals will be of huge benefit.

Irving, who has average 18.7 points during the playoffs, has cleared himself to play during game one against the Golden State Warriors despite talk of a lingering knee injury.

"It's difficult on him for sure. Whatever he can give us, it's going to be great for our team," said James, according to the NBA's official website.

"Kyrie at 50, Kyrie at 60, Kyrie at 70 is better than Kyrie at zero. When that No. 2 Irving steps onto the court, he's a presence. And the defense has to be aware of him, has to account for him just because of his abilities to make plays."

The Cavaliers are looking to give the city of Cleveland its first group of pro sports champions since 1964.
