Cleveland Cavaliers meet with Alvin Gentry

Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Alvin Gentry meets with the Cleveland Cavaliers to discuss their coaching vacancy.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have interviewed Alvin Gentry as they continue to search for a new coach.

The Los Angeles Clippers assistant is the third candidate to meet with the team, who fired Mike Brown at the end of the regular season, after Chicago Bulls assistant Adrian Griffin and another Clippers assistant, Tyronn Lue, visited the Cavaliers earlier this week.

According to ESPN, former Memphis Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins will meet with Cleveland later today.

The Cavaliers finished 10th in the Eastern Conference last season with 33 wins and 49 defeats.
