Joakim Noah: 'I'm ready for Miami Heat game'

Joakim Noah claims that he has fully recovered from his groin injury ahead of the new NBA season.

Joakim Noah has claimed that he is fully fit and ready to face the Miami Heat in this week's season opener.

The 28-year-old has only made one appearance for the Chicago Bulls in pre-season but he insists that he has no concerns ahead of the game against the last season's title winners.

"I feel 100 percent right now," Noah told reporters. "I have no problems with my groin.

"It would have been really tough to sit out a game that I've been waiting for all summer. I've been training for this game all summer."

Noah was selected for the NBA All-Star team for the first time last season.
